Delete account

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Beta / pre-release. Account deletion during closed beta is handled through the process below. An in-app delete option is planned for a future release. Final operator and legal review is required before public production launch.

Overview

You can request deletion of your Vokami account. Account deletion is intended to be permanent for account access. Some information may be retained where needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or audit purposes, as described below.

How to request deletion now

During beta and internal testing, account deletion is requested through our support channel:

  1. Sign in to Vokami so you can confirm you control the account.
  2. Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your Vokami account.
  3. Use a subject line such as Vokami account deletion request.
  4. We may ask you to confirm your display name or other account details to verify ownership.

Alternatively, you may use the contact method on our Support page and clearly state that you want your account deleted.

Planned in-app deletion (future)

We plan to add an in-app account deletion option in Settings in a future release. When available, you will be able to start deletion from the app with confirmation steps. Until then, please use the support request process above.

What may be deleted or anonymized

When we process a verified deletion request, we may:

You can delete individual posts you own from the app before requesting full account deletion, where that option is available.

What may be retained

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain information where reasonably necessary, including:

We do not promise a specific completion timeline in this beta draft. We will process verified requests as promptly as reasonably possible and may contact you if we need additional verification.
