Introduction

Vokami (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an audio social application where users can create, discover, and share audio posts and related content. By creating or uploading user-generated content (“UGC”) in Vokami, you agree to follow this Terms and User Policy.

This policy is separate from our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

Scope

This policy applies to:

• the Vokami iOS and Android apps (app.vokami.mobile);
• audio posts you record or upload;
• post titles, descriptions, cover images, hashtags, and related metadata;
• comments and replies you post;
• profile information and display content you choose to provide;
• your interactions with other users, including reports, blocks, and mutes.

You may browse and listen to content without creating UGC. Before you create or upload UGC, you must actively accept the current version of this policy in the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of your User Content, including audio, titles, descriptions, cover images, hashtags and related metadata, comments, and profile display content you submit. Uploading or displaying User Content does not transfer ownership of that content to Vokami. The site footer copyright notice does not claim ownership of User Content.

Your rights and permissions

You represent that you own your User Content or have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to submit it and for Vokami to use it as these Terms describe. That described use does not violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights. If your content includes another person's voice, image, likeness, or personal information, you have the permission or other legal basis required for that use. You remain responsible for your User Content. This section applies together with the prohibited-content rules.

License to operate Vokami

You grant Vokami a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and distribute your User Content only as needed to operate, provide, maintain, secure, and improve Vokami, and to make that content available according to your settings, its visibility, and these Terms. The license includes technical copies, caches, backups, and playback processing. It applies to User Content you submit after you accept this version and to User Content already on the service when you accept this version. Service providers described in the Privacy Policy may exercise this license only on Vokami's behalf to operate the service. The license does not transfer ownership, does not sell your User Content rights, and does not permit use of your User Content for advertising or promotion unrelated to operating Vokami. The license lasts while the content remains available on the service. It ends when deletion of the content or completion of account deletion removes it, except for the limited backup copies and detached legal and safety records already described in Account deletion and the Privacy Policy. Those residuals are not permission to keep deleted content as a live post.

Moderation and ownership

Vokami may review, process, restrict, remove, or preserve User Content to apply these Terms, safety tools, and legal duties. That authority is separate from ownership and from the license above. It does not give Vokami ownership of your User Content.

Your account

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate profile information where requested and must not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• You must be 18 or older. Vokami is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly permit accounts for anyone under 18.

Acceptable use

Use Vokami respectfully and lawfully. You may share original audio and related content that complies with this policy and applicable law. You may use in-app safety tools, including block, mute, and report, to manage your experience.

Prohibited content and behavior

You must not create, upload, post, or promote content or behavior that:

• is illegal or encourages illegal activity;
• harasses, threatens, bullies, abuses, or targets others;
• includes hate speech or dehumanizing content toward protected groups;
• is sexually exploitative or contains non-consensual intimate imagery;
• involves child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE/CSAM), grooming, or sexualization of minors — zero tolerance;
• shares private or personal information about others without consent (doxxing);
• impersonates another person or entity in a deceptive way;
• is spam, deceptive manipulation, or abusive use of reporting or safety tools;
• infringes intellectual property or other rights of others where applicable;
• attempts to evade moderation, enforcement, or account restrictions.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy or create safety risk.

Reporting, moderation, and enforcement

• You can report posts, comments, or users through in-app reporting where available.
• We may review reported content and take action, including removal, visibility restrictions, or account enforcement.
• New or sensitive content may be subject to review workflows before or after publication.
• We may preserve moderation records needed for safety, audit, and legal compliance.

Safety tools

Vokami provides tools such as block, mute, and report so you can manage unwanted interactions. Use these tools in good faith and do not abuse them to harass others.

Account suspension or removal

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this policy, create repeated safety issues, or pose risk to the community. Enforcement decisions may depend on severity, history, and applicable law.

Account deletion

You delete your account in the app from Settings → Delete account. Email and the Delete account page are assistance only. Deletion may retry or require review. Retention exceptions are limited to the detached legal/safety evidence and de-identified install events described in our Privacy Policy.

Child safety

Vokami prohibits CSAE/CSAM and exploitation of minors. For additional child safety standards, reporting expectations, and contact information, see our Child safety page.

Supported regions

Vokami is available on Android through Google Play in supported launch regions, including Saudi Arabia and the United States. iOS availability depends on App Store distribution. Availability may change over time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Terms and User Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the version identifier and “Last updated” date. Material changes may require you to accept the updated policy again before creating new UGC.
